Recycling Process
Complete Recycling Cycle: Zibo Containers is proud to champion a complete cycle of plastic products. Our process ensures that every piece of plastic we handle is given a new life, reducing waste and promoting a circular economy.
Steps in our Recycling Process:
1. Collection: We gather plastic waste from various sources, ensuring they don't end up in landfills or oceans.
2. Sorting: The collected plastics are sorted based on their type and quality.
3. Cleaning: The sorted plastics undergo a thorough cleaning process to remove any contaminants.
4. Shredding: Clean plastics are shredded into small pieces (flakes), preparing them for the next stages.
5. Repurposing: The flakes are then decontaminated and repurposed into new products, ensuring they re-enter the market with a renewed purpose.
Innovation
Our commitment to packaging is uncompromising. Our in-house design-, development-, and technical teams collaborate with suppliers and clients to create products that challenge industry conventions. We exercise meticulous attention to details such as designing for recycling and environmental impact to ultimately deliver packaging that is second to none. Additionally, we focus on perfecting the product and overall aesthetics, ensuring a stellar packaging experience for the customer.
Our industrial designers and new product development team’s designs and final products have been recognized and awarded by the Institute of Packaging South Africa’s Goldpack awards in both 2021 and 2023.
